Spice is a family business that started out selling plimsolls in the 1980's at a "new venture" called Camden Lock Market..... Our first store opened in 1985 in Primrose Hill, the second in Highgate in 1992 and then in 2004 relocated to Upper St, Islington.

Now we are industry recognised as one of the leading shoe shops in the whole of the UK.

In the last 10 years we have been nominted for numerous awards, and just recently we won the Drapers "Independant Footwear Retailer of the Year 2011" Which was our second award in just 3 years. In 2008 we also won the the Drapers 'UK Women's Footwear Retailer of the Year"

Our collection is a unique blend of luxury designers, high street labels as well as our own exclusive Spice london brand. Our look is original yet wearable. Vintage yet modern. The shop interiors are clean and contemporary, the merchandise displayed in a minimal uncluttered style. But, please dont be scared off. All our staff are very friendly & helpful. We honestly want you to feel relaxed, at ease and under no pressure when you visit. We even offer free espresso in the Islington store!

Every season we try to add new labels so our collection is always fresh and original. Our concept and uniqueness has attracted a very loyal clientele, which include many celebrities, literally keep coming back year after year.

If you are wondering, no we do not sell online. We simply would rather see and hear you in person! However, if you can't visit because you live too far away, don't worry. We now sell via mail order.
